Kõnesuunamist, often translated as call forwarding, is a telecommunications feature that allows an incoming call to a specific phone number to be redirected to a different number. This service is typically offered by telephone service providers and can be configured by the user.

There are several types of call forwarding. Unconditional forwarding redirects all incoming calls immediately to the designated number. If I am busy forwarding sends calls to another number only when the primary line is already in use. No answer forwarding diverts calls after a certain number of rings if the recipient does not answer. Some systems also allow for conditional forwarding based on specific criteria.

Users can usually activate, deactivate, and modify call forwarding settings through their phone's menu options, by dialing specific service codes, or via their provider's online portal. This feature is useful for individuals who want to ensure they don't miss important calls when they are unavailable at their primary number, such as during meetings, while traveling, or when using multiple devices.
