Käskkodeid, often transliterated as "kaskodeid" or "kaskode", refers to a specific type of electronic circuit configuration in Soviet and post-Soviet semiconductor technology. The term is a compound of "käsk" (command) and "kodeid" (encoder or code). In essence, it describes a multi-stage transistor amplifier where transistors are connected in a specific cascading arrangement to achieve desired electrical characteristics, such as high gain, specific impedance matching, or improved frequency response.
