kylläisyyslämpeneviä
Kylläisyyslämpeneviä are a thermodynamic concept related to the behavior of gases. The term, which translates to "saturated steam" or "saturated vapor," refers to a state where a substance, typically water, is at its boiling point under a given pressure. At this point, both liquid and gaseous phases can coexist in equilibrium. If heat is added to saturated steam, its temperature does not increase further, but the liquid within it begins to vaporize. This process is called the latent heat of vaporization. Conversely, if heat is removed, condensation will occur, turning the vapor back into liquid without a change in temperature.
The concept is crucial in various engineering applications, particularly in steam power generation and refrigeration cycles.
