kveikir

Kveikir is a form in Icelandic grammar. It is the third-person singular present indicative form of the verb kveikja, which means to light or ignite. The infinitive of the verb is kveikja, and kveikir is used when the subject performs the action in the present. A simple example is Hann kveikir ljósin, meaning He lights the lamps.
