Kutacását is a Hungarian noun phrase formed from kutatás, meaning research or investigation. When used in a sentence as the object of a verb, and the referent is definite, Hungarian can attach the definite-object suffix -t and the possessive suffix, producing kutatását. In effect, kutatását translates roughly as “his/her/its research” or “that person’s research,” with both ownership and definiteness indicated.
