kubb
Kubb is a lawn game originating from Sweden. The objective of the game is to knock down all of the opponent's "king" and "field" kubbs using wooden batons. The game is played on a rectangular field with a king kubb placed in the center of each half of the field. Then, field kubbs are placed evenly along the baseline of each half. The players then take turns throwing batons to knock down the opponent's field kubbs. Once all of an opponent's field kubbs are knocked down, the player can then attempt to knock down the opponent's king kubb. The first player to knock down all of the opponent's field kubbs and then the king kubb wins the game. Kubb can be played by two teams of one to five players. The game is often played outdoors on grass but can also be played on sand or snow. There are various official rules and house rules for kubb, but the general gameplay remains consistent. It is known for its strategic elements and can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
