Kriteriers is a term used in some languages to refer to sets of criteria used for evaluation or decision-making. In standard usage, the plural form in Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish is kriterier, describing the conditions, standards, or measurements applied to judge a person, proposal, project, or product. The form kriteriers is not common in standard usage and is typically considered nonstandard, a typographical variant, or a result of mixing languages.

Etymology and linguistic background: The word criteria originates from the Greek kritērion, via Latin criterion and French critère, with the Scandinavian plurals adapting it as kriterier. In English, the equivalent term is criteria (plural) or criterion (singular).
