krachtklasse
Krachtklasse is a Dutch term used to describe a category of devices, systems or competitors defined by their amount of power or force. Literally translated as "power class" or "strength class," the concept is applied in contexts where comparing capacity is important. In engineering and industry, krachtklasse denotes a rating of maximum power output or permissible load. For electric motors, pumps, and power tools, the krachtklasse indicates the expected performance category (for example light-, medium-, or high-power) and helps users select appropriate equipment. In automotive, marine, and aerospace contexts, the term may appear in datasheets to label engine power, thrust, or drive capabilities and to indicate compliance with performance or safety requirements.
Because krachtklasse is not governed by a single universal standard, the exact thresholds of each class vary
Etymology: kracht = power or strength; klasse = class or category.
