koronálisan
Koronálisan refers to a direction or plane within anatomical or medical contexts, specifically describing something located towards or relating to the crown of the head or, in a more general sense, the uppermost part of a structure. This term is often used in medical imaging, such as CT scans or MRIs, to define the orientation of a slice or view. A coronal view, for instance, shows the body as if sliced from front to back, revealing structures in a side-by-side arrangement. It is one of the three primary anatomical planes, alongside sagittal (dividing into left and right) and transverse or axial (dividing into upper and lower). The term originates from the Latin word "corona," meaning crown. In dentistry, it can also refer to the crown of a tooth, the visible part above the gum line.
