Koncernu is the genitive singular form of the Polish noun koncern, which refers to a conglomerate—a large corporate group typically consisting of a parent company and multiple subsidiaries. The term is used in economics, business administration, and law to describe a corporate structure where strategic control is centralized under the parent firm, while operational activities are conducted by legally independent units.

A koncern usually maintains a holding company at its core, owning a controlling stake in subsidiary companies that may operate in related or diverse industries. Subsumed under the parent’s strategic direction, subsidiaries can retain separate legal identities, accounting, and brands.
