Koagulatsioonile refers to the process of coagulation, which is the transformation of a liquid into a solid or semi-solid state. This phenomenon can occur in various contexts, most notably in biology and chemistry. In the biological realm, coagulation is a vital process for hemostasis, the cessation of bleeding. When a blood vessel is injured, a complex cascade of events is triggered, leading to the formation of a blood clot.
