kavandusele

Kavandusele is a village located in the Eastern part of Madagascar. It is situated in the Vangaindrano District, which is a part of the Vangoniha Region. The village is primarily inhabited by farmers who engage in the cultivation of local crops, mainly rice and cassava.

Kavandusele's economy is largely dependent on subsistence farming practices. Many of its residents grow the crops required to meet their food and household needs. Rice is a staple cereal locally cultivated, with it and other crops being the primary food sources. Livestock such as cattle and chickens also form part of the village's agricultural pursuits.

While agriculture is the primary source of income and livelihood for the residents, fishing has also been documented as an auxiliary means of income for the community. The villagers' geographical location by the Indian Ocean provides them with a basic means of secondary income through marine-based economic activities.

Kavandusele is also a site of wetlands conservation. A high proportion of the local residents have experience with conservation frameworks aimed at protecting wetland ecosystems from disturbances that may result from human activities. Wetlands offer drinking water, habitats for breeding, shelter for sgroundcover providing damages and food and clothes for livelihood for that community of people.

Kavandusele is known for a high level of traditional knowledge on forest and conservation. Understanding the plants within the village wetland and mangrove forest are shared within a familiar network and wider biology systems are at villagers optical involvement and informal education carry well within village household flexibility.
