kaugemal

Kaugemal is an Estonian word meaning further away or more distant. It functions as an adverbial form used to describe the relative distance from a reference point and can also be employed in a figurative sense to indicate greater remoteness or abstraction.

In grammar, kaugemal is used when comparing distances, often in constructions such as “ta seisis kaugemal kui mina,” which translates to “he stood farther away than I.” It can also describe the location of places in relation to another point, for example: “linn asub kaugemal rannast,” meaning “the town lies farther away from the coast.”
