kasutásában

Kasutásában is a form that can appear in Hungarian-language texts as a locative possessive construction meaning roughly “in its use” or “in its usage.” It derives from a base noun meaning use, combined with the Hungarian inessive suffix (indicating location) and the third-person possessive ending. In standard Hungarian, however, the more common noun for this sense is használat, so the usual expression is használatában. Kasutásában is thus often viewed as a nonstandard variant, a loanword-influenced form, or a fixture in contexts outside everyday Hungarian prose.

Morphologically, forms like agusutásában would follow the general pattern of attaching a locative suffix to a possessed noun to indicate the location of the use in question. Because kasutásában is not a widely attested standard Hungarian word, its interpretation relies heavily on context. When it does appear, it is typically in technical, legal, or descriptive writing where the author borrows or adapts terminology from other languages, or where a proper noun or quoted term is involved.

Usage and interpretation

In practice, if kasutásában appears in a text, readers should determine its meaning from surrounding phrases and the governing noun. If the intended sense is “in its use,” it may be a direct variant of or replacement for használatában; if not, it may function as a borrowed term or as a proper name. Because of potential ambiguity, most Hungarian authors would prefer standard forms unless there is a specific linguistic or terminological reason to retain kasutásában.
