Kammekreds refers to a system of renewing members of the Danish parliament, also known as the Folketing. This system was implemented in 1920 to allow for the renewal of up to two-fifths of the Folketing members every third year. Members who have reached the second half of their six-year term are forced to go back to the drawing board and run for election again, while those who have not completed a term are exempt from this rule.
