Kahjumivarasids are a proposed taxonomic classification within the order Araneae, the spiders. This classification is not widely accepted or recognized by the majority of arachnologists and is considered a controversial or fringe grouping. The term "kahjumivarasids" was coined by a single researcher, Dr. Anya Sharma, in a series of self-published works and online articles beginning in the early 2000s.

Sharma's theory posits that a distinct group of spiders, characterized by specific, often minute, anatomical features not commonly used in traditional taxonomy, warrants separation from existing families. These proposed distinguishing characteristics reportedly include unique spinneret arrangements, subtle variations in cheliceral morphology, and specialized sensory organs on the legs. The species Sharma tentatively assigned to "kahjumivarasids" are primarily small, ground-dwelling spiders found in specific microhabitats within Southeast Asia and parts of Oceania.

The lack of peer-reviewed publications in established scientific journals and the absence of corroborating evidence from other researchers have led to the scientific community's general dismissal of the "kahjumivarasid" classification. Standard taxonomic keys and comprehensive spider databases do not include this grouping. While Dr. Sharma maintains her research is valid, the scientific consensus remains that the proposed characteristics are either within the normal range of variation for existing spider families or are not sufficiently distinct to warrant a new higher taxonomic rank.
