kaasatav

Kaasatav is an Estonian adjective meaning "accompanying," "included," or "attached as a part of something else." It is used to describe items, features, or conditions that come with a main product, service, or subject. The form is built from the prefix ka- (often interpreted as “together” or “along”) and the suffix -atav, which forms adjectives indicating a characteristic or state.

In practice, kaasatav describes components or aspects that are not the primary item but belong to it: for example, an accompanying accessory (kaasatav lisavarustus) or an accompanying service (kaasatav teenus). In legal and procurement texts, kaasatav can signal resources or obligations supplied together with the main contract subject. In software release notes, it may refer to features delivered with the core product.

In grammar, kaasatav can function as a descriptive attribute, modifying a noun to express that it is supplementary or complementary. It is etymologically related to the verb kaasama, "to accompany," from which the adjective forms are derived.
