kaardikaardid
Kaardikaardid, often referred to as playing cards, are a deck of cards used for various card games. While the exact origins are debated, playing cards are believed to have originated in China and spread to Europe through trade routes. The modern deck of 52 cards, divided into four suits (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades), became standardized in the 15th century. Each suit contains thirteen ranks: Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, and King.
The design of playing cards has evolved over time, with regional variations in suit symbols and artwork.
