Kõnesõnum, often translated as voice message or voicemail, is a telecommunication service that allows users to leave recorded audio messages for other users who are unavailable to answer their phone calls. When a recipient misses a call and the caller chooses to leave a message, the phone system records the audio and stores it. The recipient can then access and listen to these messages later.

This technology was a significant advancement in communication, offering an alternative to missed calls and allowing for asynchronous communication.
