jäännösenergiaa
Jäännösenergiaa refers to the residual energy that remains in a system after a process has occurred. This concept is most commonly encountered in the context of renewable energy sources, particularly solar and wind power. When solar panels generate electricity, not all the incident solar radiation is converted into usable electrical energy. Some energy is lost as heat, reflected light, or simply not absorbed by the photovoltaic material. This unused or less efficiently used portion can be considered jäännösenergiaa. Similarly, wind turbines capture kinetic energy from the wind to produce electricity. However, the wind passing through the turbine blades still retains some kinetic energy, which is the jäännösenergiaa.
In a broader sense, jäännösenergiaa can also apply to other energy systems. For example, in thermal power
