Junoslovenske is a term that historically referred to the Slovenian population residing in the southern parts of the historical Slovenian territories, particularly those that were, or had been, part of Austria-Hungary before World War I. The designation "junoslovenske" literally translates to "South Slovenian" and was used to distinguish these populations from those in other Slovenian-inhabited regions. It encompassed areas that are largely part of present-day Slovenia, with a specific emphasis on regions that were culturally and linguistically identified as Slovenian but also had historical connections to the southern Slavic sphere.

The term gained prominence during periods of national awakening and political discourse in the 19th and early 20th centuries, reflecting attempts to define and consolidate Slovenian national identity. It was often used in contrast to "severnoslovenske" (North Slovenian) or other regional designations.
