Juhutähtsa is an Estonian word that translates to "accidental star" or "random star" in English. It refers to a celestial object that appears to be a star from Earth's perspective but is in fact something else entirely. This could be a planet, a comet, or even a man-made satellite. The term is often used in a somewhat whimsical or informal context, highlighting the deceptive nature of apparent starlight.

Historically, before precise astronomical instruments and knowledge were widespread, many objects that we now understand to be planets were likely mistaken for stars. Their seemingly fixed positions relative to other stars, combined with their lack of significant movement across the night sky over short periods, could lead to such confusion.
