johtuvin

johtuvin is a Finnish superlative adjective used to denote the most leading, most prominent, or most important element in a group or context. It characteristically describes the primary factor, cause, or feature among several possibilities, often in analytical or formal writing.

Etymology and form. The word derives from the verb johtaa (to lead) and the participial stem johtuva (leading). In Finnish, more everyday options for expressing prominence include pääasiallinen (principal) or tärkein (the most important). johtuvin tends to appear in research reports, policy analyses, journalism, and academic prose when a single dominant factor needs emphasis.
