interventrikulærgren
Interventrikulærgren is a term used in cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology, referring to a specific part of the electrical conduction system of the heart. More precisely, it describes the branching fibers that carry the electrical impulse from the bundle of His to the ventricular myocardium. After the bundle of His, which originates from the atrioventricular node, the impulse travels down the interventricular septum. Within the septum, the bundle divides into the left and right bundle branches. The interventrikulærgren then encompasses the further subdivisions of these branches as they spread out into the walls of the left and right ventricles.
These fibers are crucial for coordinating the contraction of the ventricles. The electrical signal travels rapidly
