Inklúzie, in English known as inclusions, are naturally occurring substances or spaces trapped within minerals during their formation. These trapped materials can be solid, liquid, or gaseous. Their presence offers valuable insights into the geological conditions under which the host mineral crystallized, including temperature, pressure, and the chemical environment of the surrounding fluids.

Solid inclusions are fragments of other minerals that were present in the crystallizing solution or melt. Liquid inclusions typically contain trapped fluids such as water, carbon dioxide, or hydrocarbons. Gas inclusions are pockets of trapped gases. The composition and state of these inclusions can be analyzed using various techniques, such as microscopy, spectroscopy, and microthermometry.

The study of inclusions is a fundamental aspect of mineralogy and petrology, aiding in understanding mineral genesis, ore formation processes, and the history of geological environments. They can also have aesthetic implications, with some gemstones being prized for the unique and visually interesting patterns created by their inclusions, while others are valued for their clarity and lack of visible inclusions.
