infraredcontrolled
Infrared controlled refers to a system or device that operates using infrared light signals. These signals are a form of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths longer than visible light, making them invisible to the human eye. Infrared control is commonly employed in remote control systems for various consumer electronics, such as televisions, DVD players, and air conditioners. A transmitter, typically found in a handheld remote, emits modulated infrared light pulses that encode commands. A receiver, built into the controlled device, detects these pulses and translates them into the appropriate action. The line of sight between the transmitter and receiver is usually required for the system to function effectively, as infrared light is easily blocked by obstacles. Beyond consumer electronics, infrared control technology is also utilized in industrial automation, robotics, and some security systems for wireless communication and actuation. The simplicity and low cost of infrared components have contributed to its widespread adoption in numerous applications.
