Inflatsiooninäitajale is the Estonian term for inflation indicator. Central banks and governments closely monitor inflation indicators. High inflation can erode the purchasing power of money, while deflation (a decrease in prices) can signal economic stagnation. Policymakers use inflation data to guide monetary policy decisions, such as adjusting interest rates, in an effort to maintain price stability and foster sustainable economic growth.
