Induksi, or induction, is a fundamental concept in logic and science. In logic, it refers to a method of reasoning that proceeds from specific observations to a broader generalization. For example, observing that every swan you have ever seen is white might lead to the inductive conclusion that all swans are white. This type of reasoning is probabilistic rather than certain, as future observations could contradict the generalization.

In physics, electromagnetic induction is the production of an electromotive force (voltage) across an electrical conductor in a changing magnetic field. This phenomenon is described by Faraday's law of induction. A changing magnetic flux through a circuit induces a voltage in the circuit. This principle is the basis for many electrical devices, including transformers, generators, and electric motors.

Mathematical induction is a proof technique used to establish that a statement or property holds for all natural numbers. It involves two steps: a base case, where the statement is proven for the smallest natural number (usually 0 or 1), and an inductive step, where it is assumed the statement holds for an arbitrary natural number n and then proven to hold for n+1. If both steps are successful, the statement is considered proven for all natural numbers.

The concept of induction also appears in other fields, such as statistics, where it is used to infer properties of a population from a sample, and in artificial intelligence, for learning patterns from data. Regardless of the context, induction generally involves moving from specific instances to a more general understanding or conclusion.
