Indirgenebilir is a term used in Turkish mathematics to describe objects that can be reduced or decomposed into simpler, nontrivial components within a given algebraic structure. Whether an object is indirgenebilir depends on the chosen framework, such as a ring, field, or vector space, and on what counts as a “simpler” component.

In the context of polynomials, a polynomial is indirgenebilir if it can be factored into a product of polynomials of lower degree that are themselves non-constant. If no such factorization exists, the polynomial is irreducible. This notion is central to polynomial factorization: every non-constant polynomial over a field can be decomposed into irreducible factors, up to units and order, with irreducible polynomials serving as the building blocks.
