Immanentti is a Finnish word that translates to "immanent" in English. In philosophy, immanent refers to something that is inherent, contained within, or intrinsic to a system, entity, or experience. It is the opposite of transcendent, which denotes something that exists outside or beyond the physical realm or ordinary experience.

The concept of immanence is central to various philosophical traditions. In metaphysics, an immanent God or deity is one who is present within the universe, rather than being a creator separate from it.
