Húgyutakon is a Hungarian term that translates to "urinary tract" in English. It refers to the series of organs in the body responsible for producing, storing, and eliminating urine. This system includes the kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra.

The kidneys are bean-shaped organs that filter waste products and excess water from the blood to produce urine. From the kidneys, urine travels down two thin tubes called ureters to the urinary bladder. The bladder is a muscular sac that stores urine. When the bladder is full, the urge to urinate is felt. During urination, urine exits the body through a tube called the urethra.

Infections of the urinary tract, commonly known as UTIs, are a frequent concern and can affect any part of this system. Symptoms of UTIs can include pain or burning during urination, frequent urination, and cloudy or strong-smelling urine. While most UTIs are caused by bacteria, other factors can also contribute. Medical attention is typically sought to diagnose and treat urinary tract issues.
