háromszögekrl is the Hungarian word for "about triangles." Triangles are fundamental geometric shapes consisting of three straight sides and three angles. The sum of the interior angles of any triangle is always 180 degrees. Triangles can be classified in several ways, primarily by their side lengths and their angles.

By side lengths, triangles can be equilateral (all three sides equal), isosceles (two sides equal), or scalene (no sides equal). Equilateral triangles also have three equal angles, each measuring 60 degrees. Isosceles triangles have two equal angles opposite the equal sides. Scalene triangles have all angles of different measures.

By angles, triangles can be acute (all three angles less than 90 degrees), right (one angle exactly 90 degrees), or obtuse (one angle greater than 90 degrees). A right triangle is particularly important in mathematics, forming the basis of trigonometry, and is often used in the Pythagorean theorem which states that in a right triangle, the square of the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides.

Triangles are ubiquitous in geometry and have numerous applications in fields such as architecture, engineering, art, and navigation due to their inherent stability and the ability to define complex shapes by subdividing them into triangles. The study of triangles, known as trigonometry, allows for the calculation of unknown side lengths and angles in various scenarios.
