hyväksyäkseen

Hyväksyäkseen is a Finnish verb form derived from hyväksyä, meaning to approve or to accept. It is the third infinitive active form (the purposive infinitive) used to express purpose, roughly equivalent to “in order to accept” in English. The form is created by adding the purposive infinitive suffix -akseen or -äkseen to the verb stem; with hyväksyä the result is hyväksyäkseen.
