Hydriform refers to a hypothetical or fictional concept often found in speculative fiction, particularly science fiction and fantasy. It generally describes a form of life or entity that exists or is composed primarily of water, or exhibits characteristics strongly associated with water. This can manifest in various ways within fictional narratives.

Some hydriform beings might be amorphous, shapeshifting creatures made of liquid, able to alter their form at will. Others could be more solid but still fundamentally water-based, perhaps with internal structures or a consciousness that is intrinsically linked to their watery composition. The concept allows for a wide range of interpretations regarding their biology, abilities, and origin.
