Haldusakte is a legal instrument used in Estonian civil law to designate one person as administrator responsible for managing another person's assets or estate. It is typically used in contexts of guardianship, estate administration after death, or corporate asset management where a person cannot or should not manage their own affairs. The document defines the scope of authority, the objects to be managed, the duration of the mandate, and the administrator's duties and responsibilities.

A haldusakte usually contains: identities of the grantor and the administrator; description of assets or property under management; the powers granted (for example to buy or sell assets, sign contracts, pay debts) and any restrictions; reporting requirements and accountability; conditions for termination or revocation; and, where applicable, governing law and venue.

Establishment and enforceability depend on the legal context: in guardianship or estate administration, such deeds are typically issued or confirmed by a court or designed by a notary, and may require formal registration or notification to interested parties. The administrator acts in a fiduciary capacity and must comply with duties of care, loyalty, and transparency; acts outside the scope are typically void or challengeable.

Haldusakte is distinct from a general power of attorney, which is usually a private arrangement for routine acts. It overlaps with guardianship and trusteeship arrangements and is linked to procedures for the protection of vulnerable persons or orderly estate settlement.
