Gyrusalueella is a term used in speculative neuroanatomy to denote a small cortical gyrus on the cerebral cortex. It is not part of the standard anatomical nomenclature and has no universally agreed definition.

In proposals that employ the term, gyrusalueella is described as a diminutive convolution located on the medial-dorsal aspects of the frontal lobe, near the anterior cingulate region, and bounded by adjacent sulci such as the superior frontal sulcus.

Proposed function: Some authors suggest involvement in higher-order cognitive processing, including planning and integration of multimodal information, but there is no direct evidence, and the exact location and role remain speculative.

Nomenclature and status: The term appears sporadically in nonstandard maps and educational diagrams; it is not used in major brain atlases (for example, Talairach or MNI templates). As a result, gyrusalueella is treated as a hypothetical construct rather than a confirmed anatomical structure.
