Galbene is the Romanian word for the color yellow. It functions as an adjective that agrees with feminine nouns in number and gender (for example, frunzele galbene, florile galbene). In Romanian, the masculine form is galben, the masculine plural galbeni, and the feminine plural galbene. The term is used in general language to describe yellow objects, light, or tones.

In color perception, yellow lies roughly in the wavelength range of about 570 to 590 nanometers. It is often associated with warmth, sunshine, and energy.
