Fornyede is a fictional municipality in the Nordmark region of the country Veloria. Located in a rural lowland area along the Forn River, it covers about 28 square kilometers and features farmland, scattered woodlands, and gentle hills. The climate is temperate, with warm summers and cold winters.

Fornyede has a long agricultural heritage. The area was settled in the medieval period by farming communities, and it acquired market town privileges in the 14th century. It developed around agriculture and timber, with growth in dairy processing and small-scale manufacturing during the 19th and 20th centuries. Since the late 20th century it has operated under a mayor-council form of government.

Population and economy: The current population is approximately 11,500. The economy centers on dairy farming, cereals, forestry, and light manufacturing, with services such as education and health care employing many residents. The town acts as a local service hub for surrounding villages.

Transportation relies on regional roads; the nearest rail connection is in a neighboring municipality about 12 kilometers away. Public facilities include a primary and secondary school, a health center, and a cultural center.

Culture and landmarks: Notable sites include Saint Odrik Church, dating to the 13th century, and a historic timber warehouse from the 19th century. The Fornyede Wind Farm on the eastern hill is a visible landmark. The annual Fornyede Days festival showcases local crafts, cuisine, and music.
