Fluorovodíkové, also known as hydrofluoric acid, is a highly corrosive and dangerous chemical compound with the formula HF. It is a colorless liquid that fumes in moist air and has a sharp, pungent odor. It is the only acid that is a gas at room temperature.

Fluorovodíkové is extremely hazardous. Contact with skin causes severe burns that may not be immediately painful but can lead to deep tissue damage and bone decalcification. Inhalation of fumes can cause severe respiratory irritation and pulmonary edema. Due to its high toxicity and corrosive nature, extreme caution and appropriate personal protective equipment, including specialized gloves, clothing, and respiratory protection, are mandatory when handling this substance. It is typically stored in plastic or specialized containers as it can corrode glass and most metals.
