fließe

Fließe is a German grammatical form of the verb fließen, which means to flow. The verb fließen describes the movement of liquids, gases, or other substances in a continuous, smooth way and can also be used metaphorically for things that progress steadily, such as time or money. The form fließe appears in the first-person present tense as ich fließe, and also serves as a Konjunktiv I form for some subjects (for example du fließe, er fließe). In dictionaries the lemma is given as fließen, with fließe listed as one of its inflected forms.

Usage: Fließen is an intransitive verb and does not take a direct object. It conveys how something

Etymology: Fließen originated in Old High German as flīsen (with related spellings in dialects) and is cognate
