Faoliyatning is a grammatical form in Uzbek that marks the genitive relationship between the noun faoliyat (activity) and another noun. It is created by adding the genitive suffix -ning to the singular noun faoliyat, yielding faoliyatning. This form translates roughly as “of the activity” or “the activity’s” and is used to connect the activity to a property, result, or related noun.

In usage, faoliyatning functions as a possessor or qualifier within a noun phrase. It precedes the second noun and indicates that the described quality or relation belongs to or is produced by the activity. The rest of the sentence does not require an additional possessive marker on the second noun, which remains in its base form. The genitive form is common in formal and written Uzbek, especially when discussing processes, projects, or events.

- faoliyatning samaradorligi — the effectiveness of the activity
