Falzen is a town and municipality in the fictional country of Eldoria, situated in the Verdant Plains along the Fal River. It is approximately 40 kilometers north of the regional capital, Helora, and covers about 60 square kilometers. The terrain is flat to gently rolling, with loamy soil and a temperate climate. Annual precipitation averages 620 millimeters, and the elevation is around 120 meters above sea level.

Falzen emerged in the 12th century as a market settlement on a river crossing and grew through trade and agriculture. It received a municipal charter in 1859 and developed a diversified economy in the 20th century, combining farming, small-scale manufacturing, and logistics. The town today is home to about 12,400 residents (2021 census). The economy centers on dairy farming and apple orchards, with a modest industrial park hosting light manufacturing and repair services.

Governance is by a mayor and a municipal council elected for four-year terms. The council oversees local services, planning, and cultural programs. Infrastructure includes a regional railway stop, a network of bus routes, and a small airfield used for general aviation.

Cultural life centers on the Harvest Market held each autumn, alongside historic sites such as St. Marien Church, the Old Mill Bridge, and the 19th-century Town Hall. Notable people include regional writer Marta Vey and engineer Jonas Kral.
