faltamos

Faltamos is the first-person plural form of the Spanish verb faltar. It appears in two simple tenses: present indicative and the preterite. In the present, faltamos means “we miss” or “we are missing” and is used to indicate that the group is absent or that something is lacking, depending on context. In sentences that denote absence from an event, faltar is typically used with the preposition a: faltamos a la clase (we are absent from class) or faltamos a la cita (we missed the appointment). In the preterite, faltamos means “we missed” or “we failed to attend” in the past: Ayer faltamos a la cita.

In modern usage, other forms of faltar are used to express remaining quantities, such as nos falta

Common contexts for faltamos include attendance at events (classes, meetings, appointments) and expressions of absence, where
