Exoaktiivne is an Estonian term used in scientific contexts to describe activity that originates outside a given system or that acts in an external or extracellular manner. The word combines exo- (outside) with aktiivne (active), and is used mainly in biochemistry, microbiology, and pharmacology to describe externally acting processes or substances.
