Európ is a term that may refer to the European continent in several languages, or, in fictional or speculative contexts, to a broader region surrounding Europe. In linguistic usage, the form Európ appears as a stem or historical spelling; the modern standard form for the continent is Európa in Hungarian and Europe in most other languages. The name derives from the Greek mythological figure Europa and the Latin Europa.
