Emittarande is a Swedish term formed from emittera, meaning “to emit.” In scientific usage it describes processes or sources that release energy or particles, typically photons or electrons, into their surroundings. The concept is central in physics, chemistry, and astronomy, where emitting behavior is contrasted with absorption or scattering.
