Elementsicons is an icon set and design system that provides scalable, visually coherent icons representing chemical elements and related scientific concepts. It is intended for use in educational software, scientific dashboards, chemistry curricula, and data visualization tools, offering a consistent visual language for element-related content.

The icon library includes glyphs for all elements in the periodic table, along with supplementary icons for common element properties and laboratory equipment. The icons are designed with a uniform stroke and grid, and can be displayed in monochrome or color. Color coding can map to element categories (such as alkali metals, halogens, noble gases), but palettes are configurable to fit different branding needs. All icons are provided as scalable vector graphics and are also available as font glyphs or raster formats.

Accessibility and web performance are emphasized: each icon has descriptive titles and accessible labels, and SVGs are optimized for performance. The package supports modular import in modern web frameworks, and can be bundled as a sprite sheet or as individual icons.
