Duevne is a small municipality located in the southern part of the Estonian county of Põlva. The origins of Duevne can be traced back to the early 17th century, when it was first mentioned in land grants issued by the Swedish crown during the period of Swedish rule in Estonia. During the Soviet era, the collective farm movement reorganised the local economy, focusing on forestry products and dairy production.
