Duart refers primarily to Duart Castle, a medieval fortress on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. It is the ancestral seat of Clan MacLean and a prominent example of Scottish coastal fortification.

Located on a rocky promontory overlooking the Sound of Mull, the castle guards an approach to the island and has long dominated the surrounding landscape.

Duart Castle is believed to have been erected in the late 13th or early 14th century. The MacLean family became associated with the site in the medieval period and established it as their clan seat for many generations.
