GlenDronach is a Scotch whisky distillery in Forgue, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is renowned for producing single malt whiskies with a pronounced sherry influence, with most bottlings matured in Spanish sherry casks, often contributing rich fruit, spice, and chocolate notes.

Founded in 1826 by James Allardice, the distillery sits near the Dronach Burn and quickly became known for its robust, sherried style. Like many traditional distilleries, it faced periods of closure and revival, and it was mothballed in the late 20th century before its revival.

The distillery was re-opened in the early 2000s by the BenRiach Distillery Company, which helped reestablish GlenDronach as a producer of prestige sherry-forward malts. In 2016, GlenDronach, along with other BenRiach brands, was acquired by Brown-Forman, a U.S. spirits company, and remains part of its portfolio.

Production at GlenDronach emphasizes traditional methods and sherry cask maturation. The brand offers a range of age-statement expressions, including core bottlings such as a 12-year-old and an 18-year-old, as well as various longer-aged releases and limited editions that showcase the depth and complexity attributed to extended sherry maturation.
